In the year 2020 when 90’s culture has become a retro fad- Mixo & Xiomara paint a more realistic picture of what growing up in 90's Detroit was actually like- reminiscing not only on the trendy aspects of the culture but also the trials & hardships. This song celebrates Detroit 90’s kids making it through to the otherside of the adversity of that decade, while still acknowledging in their lyrics...."Naw It ain’t all bad.” It was the music and art born out of freedom fight victories during challenging times that made 90’s culture trendy today. Each song on the album is a musical time capsule filled with stories & lessons created for Mixo's 1st born son, Atreyu.
